How to Use

Select location

On the Dharitree portal, choose your District, then Circle, then Village/Town from the dropdowns.

Search your plot

Look up your record using the Dag Number, Patta Number, or the Pattadar (owner) name.

View Jamabandi

Your Jamabandi / Record of Rights (RoR) details are displayed on screen — ownership, land class, and area.

Certified copy (if needed)

Dharitree is for viewing only. For a legally certified copy, apply separately through the RTPS portal (rtps.assam.gov.in).

Required Documents

Dag Number or Patta Number (from an old record or land tax receipt)
Village and Circle name
Owner's name as recorded in the last Jamabandi
Aadhaar Number (only if applying for a certified copy via RTPS)
Mobile number for OTP verification (for RTPS applications)

FAQs

Is viewing Jamabandi on Dharitree free?

Yes. Viewing your Record of Rights online is free and does not require login.

Can I use a Dharitree printout as a legal document?

No. The online view is for information only. For a legally valid certified copy, you must apply through the RTPS portal.

My land record doesn't show up online — what do I do?

Some legacy records are still being digitized. Contact your local Circle (Revenue) Office for assistance.

What is the difference between "Jamabandi" and "RoR"?

They mean the same thing — Jamabandi is the Assamese term commonly used for the Record of Rights (RoR).
